Full Time Youth Pastor – We are looking for a dedicated Pastor who is willing to do what it takes to be effective for God’s kingdom in the areas of youth ministry. Primarily to mentor youth as the church builds disciples and grows while also engaging the community to attract more disciples who are dedicated to God’s Kingdom.

The mission of the First Baptist Church of Ashland is “loving God, loving people, and making Him known.” We love Jesus and reach out with His love to all who attend. Teaching is from God’s Word, dress is casual, and our worship style is blended. Volunteers currently lead worship and we have approximately 50 members in attendance during Sunday morning worship.

Ashland, Oregon (pop. 20,000) is set in the foothills between two mountain ranges, on I-5 about 15 miles north of the California border. It is part of a county population of about 216K residents. The town’s population is predominately white, educated, middle to upper class, environmentally conscious, and generally votes progressively. Post-secondary education is available through Rogue Community College and Southern Oregon University, a liberal arts university with about 6100 students. multitude of restaurants, wineries, art galleries, and theaters (including the award winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival). The surrounding area provides a variety of recreational opportunities such as boating, biking, white-water rafting, fishing, hiking, and cross-country and downhill skiing.
