| In Turning Point
we are committed to developing the leadership skills of our students.
Because of this, we have the student ministry team. The team is
composed of middle school students who are interested in serving
the Lord in the Turning Point ministry. The student ministry team
is a ministry team for the Ashland Youth Groups. There are a small
amount of students in each youth group that want more from their
youth group. Many leaders don’t have the time to put into a ministry
team at their church, therefore we have one Ashland / Talent wide
student ministry team. The students work and learn together about
being leaders and then use their skills in their home church.
Student Ministry Team Goals:
We believe
that middle school Christians should be
Informed
- therefore, we will spend time doing in depth
Bible study.
Articulate - therefore, we will work at how to present
Jesus Christ attractively and convincingly.

that meet needs.
Supportive - therefore, we will work at building good friendships.
